The capital allocation notified to Meath County Council on 21 March 1988 for their 1988 housing construction programme included a sum of £270,000 to finance the commencement of new single houses-rural cottages, small schemes of two to five houses and, where appropriate, demountable dwellings and mobile homes.
It is hoped to issue approval in the near future to a number of proposals submitted by Meath County Council which will be financed from the allocation of £270,000. Meath County Council have indicated that they propose to commence a total of 26 houses in 1988.
