I am at present examining the views received — particularly those of the FUE and ICTU as the major interested parties — on the various options outlined in the discussion document for possible changes in the existing legislation in the areas of unfair dismissal, employment equality and payment of wages.
I do not intend to publish the submissions I have received as some organisations in making their presentations would not have envisaged publication. I would, of course, have no objection to any organisation publishing its submission if it so wishes. Deputies interested in the views of the various parties might consider approaching them directly for copies of the relevant submissions.
