The following Vocational Education Committees have been authorised by my Department to apply the terms of the Voluntary Redundancy Scheme to 37 teachers to date: County Kerry 4; County Laois 4; County Longford 3; County Limerick 7; County Mayo 10; County Roscommon 3; County Sligo 3; County Leitrim 1; Town of Tralee 2. The selection of the 37 teachers to be granted voluntary redundancy and the amount of the benefits payable in each case under the terms of the scheme are questions in the first instance for the Vocational Education Committees concerned.
