The most recent health services personnel census reported a total of 20 part time staff (excluding sessional medical staff) working in the Children's Hospital, Temple Street, with a whole time equivalence of approximately nine. Part time staff are a necessary feature of employment in the health services, as in other large undertakings, and are by definition personnel whose services are not required on a whole time basis.
