The rates of motor mileage and subsistence allowance applicable to civil servants in the last five years are set out in the tabular statements which are being circulated in the Official Report.
These rates were last revised with effect from (a) 1 January 1985 in the case of motor mileage and (b) 1 January 1986 in the case of subsistence. The subsistence allowances are due to be reviewed shortly.
