Following is the information requested by the Deputy in so far as it is available. The amount invested under the business expansion scheme in the tax year 1986-87 was £6.4 million. The amount invested in manufacturing and traded services in 1987-88 was £6.35 million and in 1988-89 (to mid-October 1988, the latest figure available) was £9.13 million.
