The following areas in County Donegal have been designated by ministerial order under the Fisheries Act, 1980, for aquaculture purposes: Mulroy Bay and Inver-McSwynes Bay.
An order has also been made in respect of St. John's Point but this is the subject of an appeal to the High Court and has not yet, therefore, come into effect.
