I have already asked my Department to make arrangements for the organisation of one-day inservice courses on a regional basis in February-March 1989 with a view to facilitating the introduction of the new Junior Certificate syllabuses. The courses are intended for teachers involved in teaching the relevant subjects and the necessary funds are available to meet the cost of the courses.
