It is assumed the Deputy is referring to the capital grants scheme for the provision of recreational facilities. The entire 1988 allocation of £4 million has been allocated to projects under the scheme. The sum of £1,689,245 was disbursed to grantees by 31 December 1988. The balance of the £4 million will be expended according as construction projects are completed, in the case of each grantee, and the various requirements of the scheme are complied with in full.
