I would not consider it necessary to amend the Constitution for this purpose, at this time. The use of force has been rejected emphatically and repeatedly and the views of Constitutional Nationalists are clearly on the record in many places, including the report of the New Ireland Forum and the Anglo-Irish Agreement.
