I refer the Deputy to my reply to his previous question of 28 February 1989 regarding the purchase of special equipment for blind children in local schools.
However, all aspects of primary education, including the provision for the disabled, are currently being considered by the Primary Education Review Body. Any policy development in relation to the provision for the visually impaired will arise following consideration of the review body's report when it becomes available.
