Written Answers. - Payments to Communications Company.

85.

asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the total amount of money either already paid or payable by his Department to Carr Communications Limited since March 1987; the purpose and for whom the company was engaged; the expenditure to date or now owed to this company in relation to either himself or the Minister of State in his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

No money is currently outstanding or has been paid by my Department to Carr Communications Limited since March 1987.

asked the Minister for Justice the total amount of money either already paid or payable by his Department to Carr Communications Limited since March 1987; the purpose and for whom the company was engaged; the expenditure to date or now owed to this company by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Since March 1987, one payment of £877.50 (net of withholding tax) was made by my Department to Carr Communications Limited in respect of consultancy services to the Minister. No further payments are due to this company by my Department.

asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport the total amount of money either already paid or payable by his Department to Carr Communications Limited since March 1987; the purpose and for whom the company was engaged; the expenditure to date or now owed to this company in relation to either himself or the Minister of State in his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

No sums were paid or are payable to Car Communications Limited in respect of myself or the Minister of State during the period in question.

A sum of £1,000 was paid in September 1987 in respect of training sessions provided for a number of officers of the Department.
