The proposed new community school at Cashel is one of four schools included in the design, finance and construct pilot scheme currently being processed by my Department.
Applications from interested developers are being assessed at present. Other arrangements, including the preparation of the architectural brief, the specifications and the contract agreement, are proceeding satisfactorily.
I will keep the school authorities concerned informed of future developments.
