My Department are unable to trace any application for grants under the 1989 cattle and equines headage or the EC special beef premium, calf premium or suckler cow schemes from the person named. It is too late for him to apply now under the first three schemes mentioned as the closing date for them fell in July 1989 but he may, however, apply under the EC suckler cow premium scheme as applications under that scheme may be accepted up until 31 January 1990.
