The concentration by Coillte on the acquisition of areas of at least 50 acres (or at least 25 acres where they adjoin existing plantations) is in keeping with their plans to increase their land base and their mandate to operate forestry on a commercial basis.
I understand, however, that there can be special circumstances if the costs are low and the strategic advantages high where the company would consider smaller areas. I do not propose therefore to have discussions with Coillte on this matter.
