My Department have received an application from Navan Urban District Council for approval to the designation of Navan as a public hire area and to the establishment of two appointed stands in the town.
The latter request is a matter for the Garda Commissioner to consider in the first instance. My Department are at present in consultation with the Garda authorities concerning both matters.
