Preliminary proposals in relation to a new sewerage scheme for Tralee, including the construction of a treatment plant for the town, have been submitted by Tralee Urban District Council. I understand that the council are making the necessary arrangements to have an environmental impact study carried out regarding the likely effects of the proposed scheme on Tralee Bay. The council's proposals will be considered further on receipt of the study.
