It is expected that works on the Bonet Catchment Drainage Scheme will be concluded early next year.
A number of sensitive areas in the catchment, originally scheduled for works in the scheme, are being re-examined at present in the light of the necessity to curtail certain works on environmental and economic grounds and it is hoped to complete this examination shortly.
