In providing orthodontic treatment, the Southern Health Board grant priority to the most serious cases which have been assessed in accordance with the guidelines laid down by my Department. The person referred to by the Deputy was found, on assessment, to be in a very low priority group and the Southern Health Board cannot say when she will be called for treatment.
