asked the Minister for Labour in respect of each semi-State or other body submitting an annual report to his Department, the dates on which their 1988 annual reports were (a) received by him, (b) laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas and (c) circulated to Members where applicable.

The position as regards bodies under the aegis of my Department is as follows:

An Fóras Áiseanna Saothair

A report, as required under section 12 (1) of the Labour Services Act, 1987, on the activities during 1988 of FÁS and its subsidiary, Irish Labour Training Services, was received by me on 5 July 1989. Copies of the report were laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas on 4 October 1989. Circulation of the report to Members is not required. The complete annual report and accounts, including audited accounts, will be submitted by FÁS shortly.

CERT Limited

The annual report was received by me on 19 June 1989 and laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas on 24 June 1989. Circulation of the report to Members is not required.

Great Southern Hotels Limited

The annual report was received by me on 6 March 1989. It was laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas and circulated to Members on 22 March 1989.

Employment Equality Agency

The annual report was received by me on 27 June 1989 and laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas on 31 July 1989. Circulation of the report to Members is not required.

Labour Court

The annual report was received by me on 2 February 1989. It has not yet been laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas or circulated to Members. This will be done shortly.

Employment Appeals Tribunal

The annual report was received by me on 29 March 1989 and was laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas on 10 May 1989. Circulation of the report to Members is not required.

Copies of the reports of FÁS, CERT, Employment Equality Agency and the Employment Appeals Tribunal, laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas, are available from the respective bodies.
