A preliminary proposal in respect of these flats has been submitted by Dublin Corporation. However, the priority accorded by the corporation to the scheme has not been sufficiently high compared to other schemes to enable its funding from the 1989 allocation to the corporation under the remedial works scheme. The position will be kept under review taking into account the priority accorded to the project by the corporation, the total funds available and the competing demands of other authorities.
