asked the Minister for the Environment, having regard to the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 222 of 24 October 1989, whether he intends to make provision in the 1990 Estimates for road and bridge realignments and traffic management in Celbridge, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It will be open to Kildare County Council to use the discretionary grants for non-national roads, which will be provided by my Department in 1990, towards the cost of the works mentioned.
Pending the determination of road grant allocations for 1990, I am not in a position to indicate if a special grant will be available next year for these works.
