It is hoped to have inspections for the headage schemes carried out in the area mentioned in the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a full headage payment for the year 1988 will be issued to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.
The person named who has been paid his 1988 calf premium scheme grant already is also an applicant for grants under the 1988 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes. He has not produced satisfactory evidence of his off-farm earnings (which he failed to declare on his application form) but when he does so his applications will be considered further.
