I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for registration of the transfer of parts of registered properties which was lodged in the Land Registry on 16 May 1989. There is a long delay in dealing with such cases in the Land Registry at present.
The Deputy will appreciate that favourable treatment can be given to any particular application only at the expense of other applications. I am informed, however, that it is the policy of the Land Registry to try, as far as possible, to expedite cases in which it can be established that special circumstances of urgency exist and any such case will be specially considered if details of the reasons for urgency are submitted to the Registrar, Central Land Registry Office, Chancery Street, Dublin 2.
