In-service courses of the type mentioned have been designed and conducted within the limits of available finance and in accordance with the White Paper on Educational Development (1980) along lines similar to those suggested by the Committee on In-service Education (1983).
Data on the proportion of those holding posts of responsibility who have attended such courses are not readily available in my Department.
