I would refer the Deputy to the reply to Questions Nos. 13, 20 and 120 of 26 October 1988 in relation to new local authority dwellings commenced in each of the years 1983-88. The actual number of new starts in 1988 was 731. In relation to 1989, the projected number of new starts is about 900.
