Two posts of audiometrician were recently approved by my Department for Waterford Regional Hospital (Ardkeen). One of these is the post referred to by the Deputy, the other is an additional post approved to develop this service. The South Eastern Health Board are presently seeking to recruit suitable persons for both these posts.
