asked the Minister for Education if she will make a statement on the proposed new Donagh national school at Carndonagh, County Donegal.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 20 and 54 together.
I have approved the provision of a new national school at Donagh, Carndonagh, County Donegal which will contain three classrooms, a teacher's room and library — medical room. It is my intention that the new building be available at the earliest possible date.
Satisfactory sketch plans were recently received from the architect engaged by the school authorities and a cost plan is now awaited. The school authorities will be authorised to seek planning permission immediately.
