I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a similar question on 5 December 1989. As I indicated, it is a matter for each agency to decide in the light of local circumstances on the number of staff who may be at risk and to provide the vaccine free of charge to those staff. This liability extends to employees of the health agencies. As medical students are not hospital employees, they are not covered by this arrangement.
