I am awaiting a decision by the heads of the religious orders responsible for the Mater and Temple Street Hospitals regarding the governance and management of these hospitals in the future. Until such time as I receive this decision a project team to plan the new development at the Mater Hospital campus cannot be set up. I am not therefore in a position to give the estimated cost at this stage.
