I have no plans to set up such a unit, which the report referred to by the Deputy suggested would ideally include representatives of the Departments of the Environment, Justice, Social Welfare, Education, Health and Labour. I would point out, however, that the operation of the tax and social welfare systems, including anomalies of the sort mentioned in the report, is kept under active review by my Department and the Department of Social Welfare.
