131 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance when a refund of income tax will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare whose tax-free allowance was updated recently; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a refund of all tax deducted from the taxpayer's earnings since he commenced employment on 12 October 1989, was made to him by his employer on 18 January 1990.
