188 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if areas (details supplied) in County Limerick have been surveyed for consideration for inclusion in the disadvantaged areas scheme; and if they have been included in the EC submission.

212 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if areas (details supplied) in County Limerick have been surveyed for the disadvantaged areas extension scheme; and if they have been included in the submission to the EC.

I propose taking Questions Nos. 188 and 212 together.

All the areas listed by the Deputy have been surveyed as a preliminary to consideration for inclusion in the disadvantaged areas. It would not be appropriate for me at this stage to indicate what areas will be included in the submission to the EC.
