I propose to take Questions Nos. 21, 22, 23 and 24 together. The Government welcome the moves towards a pluralistic and democratic society and a more market-oriented economy in a number of countries in eastern Europe and will do everything in their power directly and through the European Community to encourage these developments, including the organisation of visits at the appropriate levels to and by the leaders of the countries in question.

In accordance with the established practice, plans for any such visits will be announced shortly in advance of the event.
