418 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education when she will approve the provision of two semi-permanent classrooms for Scoil Mhuire national school, Woodview, Lucan, County Dublin; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
My Department received a request from the school authorities for the provision of two extra classrooms to cater for projected enrolments for September 1990 and subsequent years at Scoil Mhuire national school, Woodview, Lucan, Co. Dublin.
Having investigated the matter in detail my Department are satisfied that there is sufficient accommodation in other national schools within a reasonable distance of Woodview School.
Accordingly, my Department have informed the school authorities that grant aid for additional accommodation at the above school is not warranted.
