Ceist:49 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the investigations which have been held into allegations that cheap pigmeat on sale in the United States and falsely labelled as Danish, originated in meat plants in this country; in light of the possible damage that this could cause to the image of the Irish food industry, the steps which are being taken to ensure that this does not happen again; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
