101 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Environment the number of applications received by him for the building of (a) isolated cottages and (b) other local authority houses in County Meath since June 1987; the number of houses approved since that date; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Since June 1987 one application covering three isolated cottages and six applications covering 24 other local authority houses have been received in the Department. All these have been approved together with applications for 35 other local authority houses received prior to June 1987.
