Vol. 398 No. 4

Written Answers. - Donegal Vocational School Extension.

Dinny McGinley

Ceist:

142 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education if there is an application from the Donegal Vocational Education Committee to provide a permanent extension to the Abbey Vocational School, Donegal town, and the present position regarding this application.

An application has been received from County Donegal Vocational Education Committee for the provision of an extension to Abbey Vocational School.

A site suitability report has been submitted and is at present under examination in my Department. However, in common with all school projects in planning, this project is currently being reviewed in the context of pupil enrolments for both the short and long term. As soon as this review is completed a decision will be taken as to the best course of action for the school.
