62 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Energy if his attention has been drawn to the continuing consumer complaints concerning the quality of service given by Dublin Gas; if he has satisfied himself with the management structure now in place; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I am not aware of any significant number of consumer complaints concerning the quality of service provided by Bord Gais Eireann in Dublin. With an operation that size, it would be surprising if there were not complaints from time to time, but I am satisfied that where problems arise, they are dealt with as quickly as possible.
The management of Bord Gais is not part of my function but I am satisfied that all the necessary steps are being taken to provide a first class service.
