138 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education the plans she has to employ specially qualified teachers to teach physical education in our primary schools as recommended in the report of the review body on the primary curriculum.
The Deputy will appreciate that I received this report recently only but I intend to consider this recommendation of the Primary Curriculum Review Body in conjunction with their other recommendations and their implications, in detail, before I make a statement on the matter.
I will be considering all of the recommendations of the review body, including the one mentioned, when I have received the views of interested parties.
