58 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education if she will give an assurance that the leaving certificate results will issue prior to the second weekend of August and that the intermediate, group and junior certificates results will issue prior to the first week of September; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
88 Mr. Sherlock asked the Minister for Education the expected date of publication of the leaving certificate results this summer; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 58 and 88 together. It is expected that the results of the leaving certificate examination will issue in mid-August and the results of the intermediate and group certificate examinations in mid-September this year. As regards the junior certificate, this examination will not come into effect until 1992.
