Ceist:106 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Marine when he intends to introduce legislation to prohibit the practice of removing sand from foreshore.

My Department is at present working on proposals in this area with a view to bringing the matter to Government. I anticipate bringing forward legislation later this year.
