198 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment when he intends to undertake the nationwide attitudes survey on the environment; the way in which it is planned to carry out the survey and by whom; and the amount which has been spent to date on this project.

A brief is being issued to marketing research consultants inviting the submission of tenders for the carrying out of the survey in the coming months. No expenditure has been incurred to date.
