Vol. 401 No. 4

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Payments.

Bernard Allen

Ceist:

221 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health the reason disabled person's maintenance allowance has not been awarded to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 who applied in January, 1990; and the reason other persons (details supplied) at the same address, who applied for this allowance, have not received a satisfactory response.

Payment of disabled persons maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly the Deputy's question has been referred to the Chief Executive Officer, Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
