Ceist:

222 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Health when it is proposed to complete the construction of the new Tallaght Hospital; if he will outline a timetable for the various stages of the development; whether they are currently on schedule; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The planning process for the new Tallaght Hospital is almost completed. The schedule for the project provides for the invitation of tenders later this year. The proposed contract period for the construction of the new hospital is 42 months from the date of commencement of construction.
