Ceist:

253 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the national schools in County Sligo where prefabricated classrooms are in use which are two-thirds the age of the pre-fabricated buildings in question; and the schools where the plans to replace the prefabricated classrooms with permanent accommodation have not passed the stage of completion of working drawings.

The detailed information requested by the, Deputy is not readily available in my Department. Its compilation would necessitate an inordinate amount of official time which would not be warranted having regard to the large volume of more urgent work on hands.

If the Deputy is interested in any particular case I would be pleased to give him the up-to-date information.
