49 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education the manner in which educational equipment, which reverted to the ownership of her Department as a result of the closure of Carysfort College of Education, Blackrock, County Dublin, has been disposed of.
A committee was established in my Department to make recommendations on the relocation of the educational equipment which reverted to the State as a result of the closure of Carysford College of Education. This committee examined submissions and consulted interested parties before making its recommendations in relation to the distribution of this equipment.
My Department accepted the committee's recommendations and accordingly made the necessary arrangements for the distribution of the equipment.
