Ceist:151 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will finalise arrangements for the purchase of Land Commission land by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The land in question was alloted in March 1984 on the basis of an annuity of £1,440.50 payable over a period of 26½ years. The present redemption price of the annuity, including arrears of unpaid instalments is £23,340 approximately. If the person concerned wishes to redeem the annuity he should make the necessary arrangements with the collection branch of my Department in Castlebar.
