217 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for the Environment if he has completed a review as promised to a delegation from Cavan in February 1990 regarding finance for a swimming pool in Cavan; and if he will give an assurance that the necessary finance will be made available to enable construction to commence in early 1991.

The funds available to me in 1990 for grants towards the construction or refurbishment of swimming pools have been fully committed. The proposed swimming pool in Cavan will be considered, along with other projects awaiting commencement, in the context of available funds in 1991.
