Ceist:303 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the extension to St. David's national school, Naas, County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The necessary formal arrangements for the invitation of tenders for the proposed new national school at St. David's, Naas are in hands. I am unable to be precise as to the exact date on which the tenders will be publicly sought or when building will commence but I will keep the Deputy informed about the matter.
